A Step of Faith

Some steps of faith feel quiet.
Others feel very tangible.

This one feels like both.

We’ve made the decision to list our house for sale.

This isn’t just a real estate decision—it’s an act of trust. An essential step toward being able to fund the building for REC and move this dream from vision into reality. It’s practical, yes—but it’s also deeply prayerful.

Letting go of a family home carries weight. A family’s home hold memories, routines, and a sense of security. And yet, faith often asks us to loosen our grip on what feels familiar so something new can be built.

As we take this step, I want to invite you—once again—into prayer with us.

Please pray that our home sells quickly and without complication.
That the process is smooth, clear, and free from unexpected hurdles.

Please pray that builders, surveyors, land, and all the many moving pieces required for a school building begin to come together easily and without hitch.
That conversations align.
That doors open at the right time.
That the right opportunities become obvious.

Please pray that the timeline unfolds in a way that allows us to open school in August.
That planning, preparation, and construction stay well within reach.

Please pray for the families we will soon be inviting into partnership.
That as more details come together about our building and program, hearts feel peace, clarity, and excitement about joining REC.

And please pray for the right teachers.
Educators who love children.
Who value both excellence and grace.
Who feel called to build something meaningful from the ground up.

This season feels tender and hopeful all at once.

We are trusting that each faithful step—however big or small—is being guided. That provision will meet obedience. And that what is being built will be done with care, intention, and purpose.

Thank you for praying with us, believing with us, and walking alongside us as this next step unfolds.

With grace and grit—

Kehla
