A Year of Building: 2026
I’ve always loved setting goals and watching them come to fruition. I love the spark of a new idea, the courage it takes to step into an exciting challenge, and the quiet work that happens between dreaming and doing.
A new year carries that same energy.
It feels like standing on the edge of something new—full of possibility, hope, and unknowns.
As we step into this year, my heart is especially aware that this season will be just that: a new and exciting challenge, and one that is beginning to take shape through REC.
REC is more than an idea. It is becoming a place—a community—rooted in faith, learning, and the belief that childhood should be honored. And right now, this season is one of trust, preparation, and prayer.
I want to invite you into that prayer.
Please pray that REC will soon have a clear place to call home.
A space that becomes evident at just the right time.
A place where learning, laughter, and community can grow.
Pray that families who are meant to be part of REC will find us.
That teachers with a heart for children and a love for learning will join our staff.
That students will walk through our doors and rediscover the joy of learning.
Please also pray that donors who are likeminded and passionate about this work will learn about REC. That hearts will be stirred to come alongside us. That the resources needed to bring this vision to life will be provided at just the right time.
And please pray specifically that God will make the next steps clear—especially the location of our REC home—so we can begin preparing, planning, and opening our doors for the school year ahead.
This new year feels full of possibility.
We are trusting God to guide each step, reveal each answer, and build something good and lasting.
Thank you for praying with us, believing with us, and dreaming alongside us.
With grace and grit—
Kehla
